Rat Gahri the dar b sakta tha

Hum jo kehta tha kar b sakta tha

Tum jo beshra to ye b nahi socha

Hum to pagal tha mar b sakta tha

رات گہری تھی ڈر بھی سکتے تھے

ہم جو کہتے تھے کر بھی سکتے تھے

تم جو بچھڑے تو یہ بھی نہ سوچا

ہم تو پاگل تھے مر بھی سکتے تھے
